Honest answers
No. VortX is its own product. It is built on the open-source stremio-core engine and works with Stremio add-ons, but it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Stremio.
No. VortX hosts and indexes no media and provides no content of its own. It plays only what your own installed add-ons return. You bring your own add-ons.
The apps are sideloaded for now, with Sideloadly, AltStore, SideStore, or Signulous on iPhone and Apple TV, and a right-click to open on Mac. A self-hosted update channel is on the way.
Nothing. VortX is free and open source under GPL-3.0. Everything other clients moved behind a paywall ships here free, on our own implementations.
