Playback stops when I leave the app or lock the screen

On iPhone and iPad, enable Settings → Playback → Keep playing in background. This keeps audio (and the in-app streaming server) alive so a torrent does not die when the screen locks. It is on by default in current builds.

No sources show up on a title

VortX provides no sources of its own. Make sure you have installed at least one add-on that returns streams (see Add-ons), and that the title is something your add-ons cover.

A custom server over Tailscale or plain HTTP will not connect on Mac

This was fixed in 0.3.6. Update to the latest build. Plain-HTTP custom servers, including ones reached over Tailscale, now connect on macOS.

The Apple TV top menu bar disappears

Fixed in 0.3.7/0.3.8. Update to the latest build; the top bar now returns reliably after you scroll a series and press Back.

Two-factor or “connect” actions fail on the website

If the dashboard shows errors like “couldn’t start 2FA,” your saved session may be from before a security update. Sign out and sign back in once to refresh it.

Reporting a bug

Open an issue on GitHub with your device, build number (Settings shows the version), and steps to reproduce.
